אַבְלַס, אַוְולַסpr. n. pl. Avlas, in Cilicia, mentioned as one of the northern border places of the land of Israel. Targ. Y. I Num. 34:8 אב׳ דקילקאי; Y. (Probably identical with Pylæ Ciliciæ, Πύλαι τῆς Κιλίκιας. (Sifré Num. 131 סבטיא מאולם; Y.Snh.X, 28d סובתה מאולם S. of Ulam; Bab. ib. 64a סבטא בן אלס (?).
